3 Days Serengeti Flying Safari: Luxury Safari Tour

3 Days Serengeti Wildlife Safari offers a brilliant safari experience, fly in from Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam for this interesting Tanzania safari. The great Serengeti wildebeest migration safari is a world amazing event taking place annually in Serengeti Masai Mara ecosystem but with or without the presence of the migration of the herd in the wild Africa Serengeti, the park is still worth a visit as not all animals are migrating. This short Serengeti wildebeest migration safari can include other northern Tanzania parks like Lake Manyara, Tarangire and Ngorongoro crater.

Day 1: Arrival in Serengeti

Arrive at Zanzibar airport around 7:00 am and depart for Serengeti at 8:00 am for a 3-hour drive to Serengeti. On arrival at seronera airstrip, you will meet your professional and well experienced local English speaking safari driver-guide. She will give you a short briefing before starting your game drive in the vast Serengeti plains. Packed lunch will be available and can be served at a serona visitor’s centre or somewhere in the bush while watching animal actions.

A good number of predators call this park home and these include lion, hyena, cheetahs, jackal and the ever-elusive leopard. Serengeti is also home to countless bird species like the ostrich, secretary bird, herons, crane crown and many others. Drive to your camp before or during the sunset for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full day Serengeti migration safari

Leave the camp as early as 6:30 am in morning for the sunrise game, packed breakfast box and lunch box will be in your safari vehicle. Early morning game drive can allow you to spot some cat families on the road as they try to avoid the morning mist. You may also see other predators coming back from their long night of hunting or pride of lioness organizing a morning ambush or eating along the road.

After your drive, you will have breakfast somewhere in the bush and proceed with the game drive until the time which can be served at seronera picnic site. After lunch and little rest, you may have a short visit to the seronera visitor’s center before resuming your afternoon game drive. Drive back to your camp before or during the sunset.

Day 3: Serengeti to Arusha or back to Zanzibar

After your breakfast, your driver will drive to Arusha with an en-route game drive, if you wish, you can visit Masai village. The drive is along the Ngorongoro conservation area authority and across the great east African rift valley. Arrive in Arusha late afternoon for an overnight stay or a drop off at the Kilimanjaro international airport for departure. KLM can be the best option if flying the same day as it leaves JRO at 21:30.
