Day 1: Transfer from Kigali International Airport to Bukavu.

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda, you will be welcomed by the Ultimate Gorilla Expeditions Guide who will transfer you to the Rwanda-Congo border at Bukavu from where you will complete the border crossing procedures and then cross to Bukavu.You will check-in for dinner and overnight at Lac vic hotel or Orchids hotel.

Day 2: Low land gorilla trekking in Kahuzi Beige.

Have an early morning breakfast and then drive for relatively 2 hours to the park headquarters at Kahuzi Beige for briefing from the park rangers about the dos and don’t while with these lowland gorillas. Proceed for the memorable adventure in the forest, an activity that may take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the animals. Meet and stay with the animals for a maximum of one hour watching them playing with the young ones and feeding them, then descend to the park headquarters and then to your Lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Goma

On this day you will wake up very early in the morning and have your breakfast. Then you will be transferred to L.Kivu from where you will jump on to the boat and cruise on this magnificent calm water body towards the northern part of the country. You will reach in the afternoon and head for a city tour of Goma town. From here you will head to your hotel for dinner and accommodation. Overnight stay at L.Kivu lodge or Tchegera island resort.

Day 4: Nyiragongo Hike in Congo.

Very early in the morning go for breakfast then go for the Nyiragongo hike from Kibati Village. Climb up to the top of the volcanoes and have a clear view of the boiling magma at the top of the volcano. Dinner and overnight at the summit.

Day 5: Descend the volcano and transfer to Kigali

In the morning, you will set off to Kigali where you will reach early enough to take a visit to genocide memorial sites, lunch and later transfer to the Airport for your departure flight.
