Day 1: Bujumbura city tour

Day 1 of your 3 days Kibira chimpanzee trekking safari tour will involve you taking a flight to Bujumbura and upon early arrival, meet your tour guide for briefing about your safari. After, you have a city tour in Bujumbura capital which involves visiting the cultural museums, snake museums, memorial sites, Islam cultural center, president’s office, and many others. Dine and spend a night at an urban lodge.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibira National Park to trek chimpanzees

Have breakfast early in the morning and after, you will have a briefing at Kibira National Park offices on guidelines for chimpanzee tracking. Later, your park ranger guide will accompany you to track chimpanzees, learn about their daily behaviors and take photos. Dine and spend a night at an urban lodge.

Day 3: Return to Bujumbura

After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge ready to embark on a return journey to Bujumbura to catch up with your flight back home. This marks the end of your 3 days Kibira chimpanzee trekking tour.
