Detailed 9 Days Uganda Wildlife & Gorilla Trekking

The 9 days Uganda wildlife safari & gorilla trekking starts from Kampala Uganda and ends in Entebbe Uganda or Kigali Rwanda depending on the flight of the client.

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls Park Via Ziwa Rhino

The Experienced tour guide of Primate Safari Experience will pick you from the hotel in either Entebbe or Kampala and start the adventure trip to visit Uganda wildlife animals and big five animals not missing the primates of Uganda.  The guide will head you to Ziwa Rhino as the first place for activity of Rhino Tracking and Lunch at Amuka Lodge, Later proceed to drive to  Murchison falls national park  where you will arrive in the evening hours, Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at Parra lodge/Chobe lodge. Meal plan: H/B

Day2: Wildlife Game drive & Boat ride

walk-up very early morning and go for a game drive in the wilderness of Murchison Falls National Park where you will spot more wildlife. This Wildlife Watching experience takes 3-4 hours in the Park and After return to the lodge for Break Fast, Relax as you wait for lunch and in the evening go for a boat cruise and hike to the top of the falls where you will spot other wildlife like elephants, lions, leopards, warthogs, topi, oribi, Uganda Kobs, water and bushbucks. After the evening game driver, Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight, meal plan: F/B

Day3: Transfer from Murchison-Kibale forest

After Early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will start on the 7-hour journey connecting from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale Forest National Park which is a known destination for hosting the endangered chimpanzees. You arrive fort portal town and take lunch at the garden, later proceed to drive to the park lodge . Dinner and overnight at Kyaninga lodge/ Ndali lodge/ primate Lodge. Meal plan: F/B.

You will spend the evening relaxing at the lodge enjoying the cool environment of the forest.

Day4: Chimp Habituation in Kibale

You will have early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarter for the briefing about the chimpanzee watching rules and regulations as a measure for the conservation of these primates of Kibale. After heading to the search for the chimpanzee and you will find them in the nests and start walking with them in their habitats, this activity is a full-day experience that is only available in Uganda, yet it’s unavailable in Rwanda’s Nyungwe Forest, Congo ‘s Kahuzi Biega, Burundi’s Kibira National Park, Tanzania ‘s Gombe National Parks that are known only for Chimpanzee Tracking Experiences which only lasts for one Hour.

During this walk, you may spot other primates and birds that are found in the National Park of Kibale, later return back to the lodge for relaxation and enjoying the cool climatic conditions of Kibale overlooking Rwenzori Mountains National park. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B

Day 5: Transfer from Kibale Forest-Queen Elizabeth

After Relaxed morning breakfast at the lodge, you will have a relaxed drive through the crater lakes as you proceed to drive to queen Elizabeth national park known for its wildlife mainly the tree-climbing lions that can’t be spotted anywhere in Uganda parks. You will take lunch at UWA bands and go for a boat cruise where you will spot various wildlife animals and birds on the lake banks. Later return to the lodge for Dinner and overnight at Kasenyi Safari Camp/ Mweye Safari Lodge.

Day6: Lion Experiential Tracking  in Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will walk up very early morning and head for the morning lion experiential tracking in Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will be following the school of Lions in their wilderness as they hunt for food. This Lion experiential Tracking is only available in Queen Elizabeth National Park and you will spot other wildlife animals like leopards, warthogs, topi, oribi, Uganda Kobs, water and bushbucks. Drive to the Kasenyi fishing village to spot the Hippos along the shores of the Lake Gorge. Return to the lodge for lunch and later transfer to Ishasha Sector. Dinner and overnight at Ishasha Wilderness Camp.

Day 7: Wildlife Game Drive in Ishasha southern sector

After Breakfast at the lodge, you will go for the early morning game drive in the ishasha Sector searching for the tree climbing lions which are only available in Uganda and Tanzania. Get the unique experience of watching the tree climbing lions with the experienced guide of Primate Safaris on Uganda Safari, Later proceed to have lunch at Savanna hotel, proceeding to drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest the best destination known for Gorilla watching experience with option habituation. You will be arriving in the late evening, enjoy the cool bliss of the Tropical rain forests in Uganda.  Dinner and overnight at Ruhija Gorilla Mist, Buhoma Lodge/Mahogany Springs/Gorilla resort, Meal plan: F/B

Day 8: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi

After Morning breakfast, head to the park headquarters for briefing about the mountain gorillas trekking rules that are followed by trekkers that select primate trekking in Uganda, Rwanda, and Congo where the mountain gorillas are found. The Experienced ranger guides of the park will lead you into the jungle to search for the endangered mountain gorillas in the wilderness of Bwindi in Buhoma Sector.  After return back and transfer to Lake Bnyonyi for the relaxation on the shores of the lake. Dinner and overnight at BirdNest meals F/B

Note: Clients that have booked exclusive, you will for the gorilla trek only them in the entire group of 8 pax and we shall have to purchase the gorilla permits for the entire family.

Day9: Transfer from Lake Bunyonyi to Kigali.

You will go for the boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi to visit the various Islands on the lake and later return to the lodge for breakfast, Later transfer to cross the border to Rwanda, the land of thousand Hills, Enjoying the rolling hills. Lunch will be in Kigali Rwanda, Later drop off at the airport for flight back home.
