Day 1: Drive from Kigali to Volcanoes national park.
The guide picks you from your hotel after having breakfast. You proceed with your drive to Volcanoes national park, home to over 400 mountain gorillas. This drive takes 2 hours to arrive at this national park. This is one of the nearest national parks to Kigali city. Upon your arrival at the park, check-in and then proceed for a community walk to explore the nearby villages near the park.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Have breakfast at the lodge, after proceed for a briefing at the park headquarters to know about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. After, proceed for the search for mountain gorillas, once found, you spend 1 hour with them as you get to enjoy their company. You are to enjoy close views of adults feeding, grooming, and resting as the youngsters swing from one tree to tree. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch as you prepare to visit the Ibucway village, this is a great opportunity to give the visitors the chance to get to know Rwanda and the village in a meaningful and personal way.

Day 3: Second Gorilla trekking
Have breakfast at the lodge, after proceed for a briefing at the park headquarters to know about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. This is the second time for trekking the gorillas. After, proceed for the search for mountain gorillas, once found, you spend 1 hour with them as you get to enjoy their company. You are to enjoy close views of adults feeding, grooming, and resting as the youngsters swing from one tree to tree. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relax in the afternoon.

Day 4: Golden Monkey trekking & proceed to Gisenyi
Have breakfast at the lodge and after proceed for golden monkey trekking in the forest. You start your search for these primates and it takes a few hours before you meet face to face with them. Spend one hour with them as you take photos of them jumping from one tree to another. The trek takes 2 to 4 hours and after return to lodge for lunch as you prepare to drive to Gisenyi town and have an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Kivu.
After, relax at the lodge for the evening.
Day 5: Have a beach visit around Lake Kivu & transfer back to Kigali
Have breakfast at the lodge and after proceed to the beach to enjoy a swim in Lake Kivu. The beaches are surrounded by mountains that make it a great sight and a perfect place to relax. Have lunch at the lodge and then start your drive back to Kigali city. The guide drops you at the airport to catch your departure back home.

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon your arrival, you’ll be picked up from the airport and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Your guide will make stopovers at the Equator crossing for photography, a brief talk, and some experiments before you head to Mbarara town for lunch. You will then drive past beautiful banana plantations, farms and the amazing Hills of Kigezi arriving in the evening and check-in at Ichumbi Gorilla lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
After your early morning breakfast, your guide will drive you to the Park Headquarters for briefing before heading into the forest for your gorilla trek. Once you find the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them while observing their behavior, taking photographs before you return to the Park Headquarters for your certificate that confirms that you have tracked gorillas in Uganda. Overnight stay at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast we will drive to Kibale National Park. This journey will take you through Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will have chances of spotting tree climbing lions as you drive through this Savannah dominated national park. You will have a stop in Fort Portal town for lunch before proceeding to checking-in at Chimpanzee Forest Guest House for overnight.
Day 4: Chimp Trekking in Kibale and Bigodi Wetland Walk
After breakfast, you will drive to Kibale National Park Headquarters for a briefing on the Dos and Don’ts of Chimpanzee trekking. You will be divided into small groups of six people headed by one guide who will then move with you into the forest to find one of the Chimpanzee families. Once you find the Chimps, you will be allowed to spend one hour with the Chimps before returning to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you head out for a wetland walk in the nearby Bigodi Village.
Day 5: To Entebbe or Airport
After breakfast, you will drive to Entebbe International Airport for your international departure flight.
