Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Bukavu

On your arrival at the Kigali International airport, you will be welcomed by an experienced guide of Primate Safari experience, and start on the drive to the southern part of Rwanda crossing into Bukavu city of Democratic republic of congo via Rusizi one border post . Finalize border arrangements and cross into Congo. Dinner and overnight stay at Orchids hotel or Begonias/ Tshivanga Lodge

Note: About Tshivanga Lodge: The Lodge at the park is Called Tshivanga Lodge but it’s a new accommodation managed and owned by the Park with 6 double rooms only so primate safaris will recommend this lodge if the clients are not more than 6 Couples ( max 12 Paxs)

Note: Your Advised to either have to spend a night in Rwanda or having booked an early morning flight since the drive from Kigali Rwanda to Bukavu takes around 8 hours considering the driving speed

Day 2: Eastern Lowland Gorilla trekking In Kahuzi Biega National Park

After breakfast at the hotel in Bukavu, you will be picked up the guide and you start the drive from the city to the Kahuzi-Beige park headquarter for briefing about Eastern lowland gorilla trekking rules and regulations as your enjoying coffee tea, and after entering into the jungle to search for the endangered species in their wilderness.  You will stay with these primates for 1 hour for observation and photography if ts gorilla trekking yet those for gorilla habituation will stay with them for a duration of 4 hours.

Day 3: Transfer from Bukavu to  Kigali

Upon wake up on lovely morning condition, you will take a simple breakfast and start to drive to cross the border from Congo to Rwanda driving to Kigali with various stop points in Nyungw forest national park where you may spot other primates like monkeys, arriving in Kigali in evening hours. Lunch will be en route. Take the flight back home.
